About Adger

Adger Cowans work has been shown in numerous museums including The Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Whitney, and The Getty. He is the recipient of numerous accolades including the Lifetime Achievement Award from Howard University and the Lorenzo il Magnifico alla Carriera in recognition of a Distinguished Career. He is a founding member of Kamoinge and the author of two books, the Personal Vision and Art In The Moment.
